Plants and Bugs

First it was the bamboo... and now banana trees. Ben is thrilled with his recent purchase of a "hardy banana tree". He has done his research and this banana tree can produce bananas, but it probably won't. It dies in the winter and comes back in the spring. Tonight while we were taking a stroll in the yard I spotted a praying mantis. Creepy!


Here Ben is with his hardy banana tree. We move all the way from Miami only to buy tropical plants. :)
