December Happenings

This December has gone by so fast.  I can barely keep up.  This first picture is a bookmark that Gwen drew with cats on it.  She is really into cats.  So into cats that we have lost our minds and are giving our kids a cat for Christmas.  (it's a secret!)

I took a job working in a preschool Tuesdays and Thursdays.  It works out well because Romy gets to go to school for free while I work.  I think she really enjoys it.  This is one of the baby dolls in our class.  I call her grumpy baby.

I liked this quote.

I spoke at a Christmas tea at a local church and Gwen went with me.  She got all dressed up and looked beautiful.  I spoke about Christian hospitality.

Romy just HAD to have her picture taken.

Zeke and a neighbor, Luke.

all of them

Zeke loves his Chinese food

Every year we visit this place with blow up ornaments.

I love the one room schoolhouse near my kid's school.  Here it is with a light snow on it.

Everyday November Moments

This girl... she is a kindness to me.

Playing dress up with neighborhood friends.

Zeke FINALLY lost a tooth.

This election... it has worn us all out I think.  I saw this the day after.  How is this productive in any way?

Romy helped me bottle my vanilla extract.

This may look like a boring photo... but this is not.  It is of Ben cleaning up someone's spilled coffee at church.  What a servant hearted man of VALOR!

Supermoon- it was like a holiday for me.  I get excited about the moon.

Zeke organizing the Christmas decorations.

All three of them working together peacefully.  Better take a photo of this!

us at a Christmas tree farm... no, this is not a professional photo.

Gwen and her daddy.

She's getting big and eclectic- and I like it.

Romy's pleased with her candy cane.

Making a pumpkin pie with mama.  She's always up for cooking.

First haircut for Romy G today.

This is what vacations look like- no makeup, no worries, no hairstyling, and lots of reading and laughing and games.

Catching Up

I've gotten behind on blogging... so here are some catch ups.  One day when the kids were out of school we went and had lunch with daddy and toured his work.  He is working at AMC theatres headquarters right now... but in a few days he will be taking a sabbatical to work on an app for someone and also to pray about where God wants him next. The kids really enjoyed these chairs.

We visited the pumpkin patch with Ben's siblings and mom.  Here's Beki and Jeff.  They are too good looking for their own good.

Ben and Romy

They had a little train so we got in on that.

Owen- my nephew

Malakai- my other nephew

Even the adults got in on it... except for the mature ones like myself.
